12/2/2015 - Official Announcement from AYSES SC:
We are very excited to announce that On The Ball Soccer (FC OTB) and AYSES Soccer Club have agreed to merge and become AYSES Soccer Club.
This is great news for both clubs and one that will enable AYSES Soccer Club and On The Ball Soccer Club to make major leaps forward in the realization
of their visions. The core of that vision is a club that offers its players, parents and partners the best possible service, while at the same time providing
opportunities for players at different points of their development. This will all be done within the AYSES System that is based on caring, focusing on player
development, pursuit of excellence, and possession soccer predicated on highly technical skills and understanding of the game.
The merger brings to AYSES SC Camilo and Barbra Ardila, the two founders of FC OTB whose immense talent and integrity will be of tremendous value
in moving AYSES SC forward. Camilo Ardila will take over the position of AYSES SC Academy Director for Boys and Girls, and Barbra Ardila will take over
the position of Academy Administrator. The two have had a long standing relationship with Sammy Olali the Director of Coaching for AYSES Soccer Club
and that relationship should serve the club well. The management and playing philosophy of both clubs are remarkably similar, and that is a huge factor
that will allow for a smooth transition.
The merger will officially begin July 1, 2016 but all FC OTB teams will begin practice at Fairview Soccer Park (FSP) November 30, 2015. FC OTB brings a
total of eight teams to AYSES SC to bring to thirty eight the total number of teams at AYSES SC. The merger will also help both clubs better deal with the
USSF changes that will be implemented by local leagues starting Fall 2016.
AYSES welcomes all members of FC OTB and looks forward to a great future for members of both clubs.
On The Ball Soccer will continue to offer Private & Team Trainings as well as their annual Summer Soccer Camps under the On The Ball
Soccer company name.
